Hello & welcome to our second Eco Friendly Blog Hop, and our first using the brand new products from the SU 2020 Mini Catalogue.
For this hop I have used the Honey Bee Bundle & Golden Honey papers that are FREE with any spend over £45 during Sale-A-Bratoon 2020.
This has been my absolutely fave set this year, I literally have not put it down. I just love bees anyway, so this was a no brainer for me.
For our Eco Friendly theme I wanted to use the Honey Bee bundle to create something Bee Friendly, as this is something so crucial to environmental change.
As you may remember from my first Eco Friendly Blog Hop before Christmas, I had just discovered Plantable Seed Paper, so I wanted to incorporate this again as I have lots of it left and this is the time to get planting, what with Spring around the corner.
I created a little Bee Friendly Planting Gift Box, inspired by something similar online. The box includes everything you need to grow your own Bee Friendly flowers; Plantable Seed Paper, Mini Proprogator, Small Reusable Bag of compost.
I used the new Aluminim Foil heart tins with their dome as a Mini Propagator. I know this is plastic but when used in this sense it is contributing to the environment, and it can be reused over and over.
I covered the bottom half with some of the Golden Honey papers, and used the box they came in as the actual gift box itself. I decorated the front with a simple scene using the Honey Bee stamps.
I cut a small circle of Seed Paper using my 2” circle punch and stamped it with the Bee stamp using Momento Ink. I also stamped the small cloth bag with the bee too.
You can order all the products I have used for this project (except the seed paper and cloth bag) from me. Just send me a message to add them to my next workshop order 🐝
Please now head over to my fellow Eco Friendly bloggers for more environmentally conscious creations.
